Our Story

EcoProof Africa was founded in 2010 by Jacques Du Plessis, with a straightforward focus: deliver waterproofing solutions that actually last, for both domestic and industrial properties. Since then, the business has grown from a single founder into an established waterproofing company built around a qualified, experienced team, several of whom have worked with us since our early years. That continuity matters in a trade where the difference between a job that lasts fifteen years and one that fails in two often comes down to experience most contractors don’t have.

Our Mission

We exist to solve a problem most property owners would rather not think about until it’s already causing damage. Our focus is on using proven, fully bonded, liquid-applied waterproofing systems, seamless membranes with no joints for water to find, rather than cutting corners with cheaper, shorter-lived alternatives. We install product ranges developed by DuGill Manufacturing, built specifically for South African climate conditions.
